What We Do
Girls Inc. of Huntsville is a nonprofit organization that serves girls ages 5 -18 through after-school, fall break, spring break, summer camp and outreach programming.
Mentorship, a pro-girl environment, and proven programs prepare girls for independent life.

Our Mission
Three Elements Are Critical to Successful Outcomes:
PEOPLE
Trained staff and volunteers who build lasting, mentoring relationships. Our staff take the time to engage with families, encourage girls to pursue leadership positions, and serve as role models.
ENVIRONMENT
Girls-only, physically and emotionally safe; where there is a sisterhood of support, high expectations, and mutual respect.
RESEARCH-BASED PROGRAMMING
Research-based, hands-on and minds-on, age-appropriate, meeting the needs of today’s girls. Our trained staff develop locally-focused programs that ensure girls are exposed to new experiences.
Our Difference
Through the Girls Inc. Experience, our professionally trained staff and volunteers provide mentorship, safe spaces, and programming that address the unique challenges girls face and are proven to help girls succeed.
We cultivate safe environments where girls are encouraged to take risks, learn from experiences, and grow.
Girls Inc. of Huntsville is a nonprofit organization that serves girls ages 5 -18 through after-school, fall break, spring break, summer camp and outreach programming.
Our research-based programming is delivered by facilitators who focus on the development of the whole girl, supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming, pro-girl environment. Here, girls learn to value their whole selves, discover and develop their inherent strengths, and receive the support they need to navigate the challenges they face.

What Girls Learn
