Girls Inc. of Huntsville is celebrating 50 years of service to the community! For decades, we’ve utilized our research-based programming to provide girls with the tools they need to become successful workforce leaders. To celebrate our 50th anniversary, Girls Inc. has decided to establish a new, bold goal: to change the lives of an additional 3,000 girls across North Alabama by 2027.



We invite you to join us in our promise to invest in our girls, to empower them to break the cycle of poverty, prejudice, and inequity, and most importantly, to fuel the fire that’ll help our future women leaders change the world.

  • Galentines Day Soiree

    Our Galentine’s Day Soiree was an opportunity for our girls to recognize and celebrate our Champions for Girls and Leadership donors! The event was held at the Preservation Company which is was the first home of Girls Inc. of Huntsville!

  • Girls Summit 2022

    The Fuel Her Fire Summit is an all-day conference for high school girls providing them with workshops that focus on positive body image, leadership, racial/social justice, mental health, non-traditional career roles for women, and workforce development opportunities.

  • Homecoming 2022

    Girls Inc. Homecoming is all about our girls! From former and current members to donors, board members, and staff, we’re celebrating the Year of the Girl with our community! Come hang out with us, enjoy fun games, dance, reconnect with old Girls Inc. buddies, make new friends, and so much more at this year’s Fuel Her Fire Homecoming!

    We’re commemorating 50 years and you’re invited to celebrate with us! Girls Inc. of Huntsville turns 50 this year, and we’d like to take a moment to thank you for being a part of this journey with us. Because of you, we’ve been able to inspire and empower over 50,000 girls in our community since 1972.


    We’re thrilled to announce that 23-time Grand Slam Champion Serena Williams has accepted our invitation to join us in celebrating this monumental milestone! As a result, we need your support for our Fuel Her Fire Sneaker Gala on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Von Braun Center. This semi-formal affair has a little kick to it! Put on your best sneakers and join us as we celebrate the impact Girls Inc. has made in the lives of girls in our community.


    We have a vision of empowering and equipping an additional 3,000 girls with the skills needed to become strong, smart, and bold workforce leaders. Our goal is to raise $500,000 to support our current program activities such as STEM education, academic enrichment, and support, as well as expansion efforts within the next three years.
